Somehow got a bug on my MC where activating Endure and Bulwark just made me completely invincible. I had 2 wounds in a fight and all attacks were doing 0 dmg, except crits which hit me for more wounds that I had but I just remained at 2. Heresy works.

it'd be one thing if it was "oops this ability doesn't work as advertised" or "this weapon doesn't show up properly"

Yeah Heinrik disappeared in Act 3 for me, which was mildly annoying but tbf it wasn’t Cassia or Argenta so I can just use that as my required companion slot.

99% of the people playing this game are going to just google "rogue trader X puzzle" for anything more complicated then a Tower of Hanoi puzzle, mostly because the clues and information for solving Owlcat puzzles are so obscure and convoluted you can't even be sure it's implemented properly.

Grand Strategist zones can't be rotated because their rotation depends on their position relative to your character. If you want to place them very specifically you have to move your Grand Strategist.

it's always some weird allusion in a note halfway across the dungeon that may not even drop properly. gently caress that!

Can’t you just respec everyone for free? That’s probably gonna be a lifesaver soon when I realize my whole party sucks because I have no idea what abilities I was taking for the past 10 levels.

Hmmm, apparently I missed the actual plasma gun in chapter one. Is there another one that I can find sometime soon and give to pasqal? I might just toybox one in for him if not

So Pasqal has a fun interaction between Filtering Protocols (+1AP whenever he shoots a plasma weapon) and Finest Hour. See, Finest Hour lets you make as many attacks as you have AP for in a turn. And plasma weapon single shots only cost 1 AP, which you get back after firing. Which means Pasqal can mag-dump a plasma gun in a single Finest Hour cast. The only thing stopping him is the absolutely filthy reload cost for plasma weapons.

You get 3 free respecs in the base games and then it starts scaling in cost absolutely punishingly and doing it more than a few times after that means never being able to get any of the top tier stuff from shops.

Toybox has a free respec feature built in so I would suggest just grabbing that.

I gave it to Cassia. She has enough MP that she can run around placing everything just so for the passive bonuses, then switch over to using navigator powers for the rest of the fight. Free Fire Zone is nice for your heavy weapon specialist, and Front Line's passive is great for anyone who wants to be mixing it up in melee, but I completely ignored stratagems because I didn't want to commit myself to having to manage the zones after placement and Cassia had better things to do than use some very conditional powers.

It's very much like Operative, I think.

I guess it's time to pull out ToyBox and see if the "respec from 0" feature works.

It's lopsided, unless you meant everyone you want to bring has the Grenadier perk in which case yes you would be lobbing a lot of grenades :haw:

It's in a 'invisible crate' after the sniper+mines ambush I only noticed because it was highlighted on the map as "loot".

Maybe it's hidden? I didn't notice any specific skill check success noise.

It's absolutely worth adding it in via Toybox if you missed it. Pasqal gets a lot of plasma focused talents that make it really worth his while, while it also acts like a free grenade launcher (2 round cooldown).

I'm also seeing no mention of Argenta getting her power armor, is that late game? I assume since power armor proficiency is a talent it must be a thing you can build towards, just super low dodge but sky high armor & deflection.

Her special power armor is Act 5. Basically nine seconds before the game ends. In theory if you give every single thing to the Tech-Nerds their vendor gives you one other option slightly earlier. To be fair at that point of the game you are getting messages on your power armor that are like "You will block 115% of damage this chapter". And it's like.....ok game, I think I'm good.

Gotta love that they gave the 3D model of Cassia the Habsburg Jaw just to help clue you into the fact that on top of being mutants, Navigators are hideously inbred.

In my game, Abelard is my go-to guy for mulching everything. Dude goes around Thunder Hammering everything that's not nailed down and it is super-effective. Argenta is positively meh by comparison.

The fact that in-lore there is a non-zero amount of inbreeding in Navigator families (especially considering that House Orsellio does not seem to maintain quarters on Terra) coupled with the fact that the "bug" was the Habsburg Jaw (which is most prominent in this photo of Charles II) tells me that this was less of a bug and more of an inside joke (in poor taste) among the dev team that made it into the final game. Regardless, removing it is definitely for the best.
