You can Continue from Clip, then when you get a bunch you like (and hopefully a clip that actually ends the song - sometimes it's stubborn) - Get Whole Song is under Continue from Clip in the context menu, and it will put together every clip you've used in that "thread." I did that with the 5+ min song in the post you quoted.

anyone else just not felt compelled to make songs with suno since they introduced customisable lyrics? it's like 80% of the fun was the lootbox-like rush of seeing what garbage it came up with. it's somehow less interesting as a toy now that it can sing anything you want. and it's not sophisticated enough to be much more than a toy.

I still dabble with it. You can have it make up lyrics, just turn off "Custom Mode". And even with that on, there's a "Make Random Lyrics" button. My biggest gripe is still that it never tailors the speed of the lyrics to fit the length of the song. It either rushes through them in the first half of the time and then either repeats them or just starts singing in gibberish, and worse than that when it drags out the pauses between lines so that half the chorus gets cut off. I would happily pay the subscription fee if that meant that a song was guaranteed to be long enough to fit all generated lyrics in perfectly.

I wrote/generated/i dont know anymore a song about my cat https://files.catbox.moe/yph8fg.mp4 https://soundcloud.com/sharkcheese-890071423/big-buddy As an experiment I made loops of everything and pieced it together in audacity instead of relying on a lucky AI generator roll, allowed for a lot more freedom in structuring the song but I'm not an audio engineer so it sounds a little rough in places.
