the murder of sonic the hedgehog,because it has a kickass soundtrack. but also because the only games from this year I have played have been that and starfield.  I moved the needle on berseria though. getting close to the end!!

Mode 7 posted:Chill out thread, it's getting weird in here. wo long's got some great mood setting pieces for its bosses; i'm partial to lu bu's theme, especially his second fight's phase 2, and zhang bao's theme. it's one of those soundtracks that doesn't blow you out of the water, but it's all rock solid highly listenable stuff also it's not technically this year but tekken 8 has got some loving bangers, reina's stage has become a personal favorite

One thing I've noticed in the goty thread that ppl who mention Octo2 but didn't rate it highly don't mention anything about the soundtrack in their write up. I can only assume that they must be unfortunately deaf
