it’s meant to teach you that bosses need to be pressured like in sekiro, if you try to use hit-and-run tactics you soon learn it has way more hit than you have run

the way it periodically leaves the level boundaries is annoying though, haven’t seen any other bosses do that yet

i was curious so I checked an epilepsy website and what triggers a seizure can be vary tremendously but "flashing lights" still generally have to be at minimum 5Hz. It was extensively studied as people made the connection between TVs and photoelectric seizures.

quote:

Photosensitive epilepsy came to prominence in the 1950s with the
advent of television. Photosensitive epilepsy occurs in 1 in 4000 of the population.
The incidence is 1.1 per 100,000 per annum, however amongst 7-19 year-olds the
incidence is more than five times as common. It is twice as common in females as
males, the onset is around puberty, but less than 25 per cent of patients lose their
photosensitivity in their twenties. Patients are investigated in the EEG laboratory
using intermittent photic stimulation. Peak sensitivity is between 16 and 20 flashes
per second but 49 per cent of patients are sensitive to 50 flashes per second,
explaining the sensitivity to PAL television systems. From 1993 the development
of broadcast guidelines was developed restricting both flash rates and the areas of
screen involved, as well as the use of long wavelength red. Automatic analysis
systems are now developed to test material for compliance with guidelines in real
time.

Note this is a specific form of seizure inducing epilepsy, and there are many different others like seeing certain patterns or the sun reflecting off the water a particular way.

quote:

The origins of Clowns International goes back to 1947 when it was known as the International Circus Clowns Club.

In the 1940’s it was at the circus where you would most likely find a clown. Troupes of sometimes a dozen clowns were employed by the larger shows. Each February clowns would negotiate new contracts for the coming season. However in 1947 Billy Smart, (Circus Owner) decided to create some extra publicity for the show by arranging for his clowns to attend Joseph Grimaldi’s grave in the churchyard of St. James’s Church, Pentonville Road, London. There they laid a wreath on the gravestone and decided to meet again the following year. A tradition that is kept alive to this day.

It was circus enthusiast Stan Bult who heard of this and as a result of the gathering he established the International Circus Clown Club. In 1978 the International Circus Clown Club became Clowns International and membership is now open to all clowns of every type.

So why not join today!
