Ligotti mainly writes short stories, so any of the collections (My Work Is Not Yet Done, Grimscribe, Songs of a Dead Dreamer, etc.). My favorite of their works (and the one I started with) is The Conspiracy against the Human Race but that's more philosophy.

I’ll be done soon so does anyone have horror reccs Hater by David Moody is kinda like a rage zombie book that i remember being pretty decent, and Skin by Patrick Logan was alright, that's kind of a "omg snowed in and terrible things are happening" sort of vibe also both of those books are first in their respective series of books

Closing your scrubs in the window of the passenger side of your best friend’s ride so they flap in the wind because you got up late and forgot to throw them in the dryer so you’re turbo air drying them while they drive you to work certainly sounds like a thing I’d do but fortunately it has never come to that.

there was recently an owl by my bedroom hooting and when I googled about it I learned the owls in my area mainly hoot like this as a predatorial warning, basically being like "this is my turf, gently caress off" made me a little nervous going out those nights  like a year before that an owl flew out of a tree and right over my head and I thought it was cool as gently caress but now I realize it was probably a warning lol TIP fucked around with this message at 05:40 on Jan 5, 2024 |
