I think the Clippers are somehow pawning off the Clippers Curse onto other teams.

It seems they’ve been successful with the Suns and the Grizzlies so far.

sad guy looking out bus window: the bucks blew a 13 point fourth quarter lead, lillard is shooting like 25% from 3 since Christmas on super high volume, the defense is incapable of holding teams to less than 120 points, and they needed the kings to miss 3 free throws in the final 18 seconds to even have a chance at this one

happy guy looking out bus window: dame time!!!

obviously this correlates really well with good teams/teams that are "overperforming" but absolute lol at the spurs and warriors

All days are nights to see till I see thee; and nights bright days when dreams do show me thee.
Something is weird about that chart, MN has had pretty good injury luck in general but has missed way more than the, I dunno, 5-10 games that chart seems to imply? McLoughlin missed like 20 games, McDaniels missed 10, and the rest of the starters have missed another 7 or 8.

I'd expect the Wolves to be near the least but that chart doesn't look right at all.

spotrac has the Wolves at 31 games missed by 7 dudes, looks like McLaughlin had 15 and Jaden had 8

It's not including some of the early season stuff for some reason, McDaniels missed the first 2 games with a calf injury, Mcloughlin missed early games too. But still, 31 is a lot closer than what that chart shows.

I'm really curious how the NBA is going to react to it. There are plenty of examples of players and coaches coming out saying "gently caress the refs for their lovely calls tonight" and getting fined. What happens when a guy comes out and says "they are nice guys who make mistakes, but gently caress their lovely calls tonight and here is video proof"?

the league trying to get refs 20 years of experience in 5-10 years of games because they rarely hired/trained anyone new from the 80s through the aughts.

I don't know what is happening with reviews that are so clearly wrong. I understand in the motion of the game things are going to be missed, that happens. But when you go to a review and just.... ignore what is on the screen, wtf? Are the refs trying to protest reviews or something?
