Yeah, they used to shoot a season over two days, a month or more before the first episode came out. They just look at the trailer and synopsis & decide what they want to say. The grimace Joseph has when Gregg is talking about movies is so fun, he might have what it takes to be a co-host with Tim.

Tim said in a Q&A a few years ago that his view is that neither Tim nor Gregg actually watch any of these movies in-universe.
