Seems like the worst thing you'll find on Conan is that he's very much an "I don't like politics, I wish everyone would get along" type person and sometimes comes off as pretty naive in that regard. But he has no problem letting other people who are more passionate talk about it. For him it seems to come from a place of not trusting himself to be able to do a good job with it, or make it funny, so he stays in his lane.
