It's ok, she works at the store, Gingrich wouldn't go to a place where those kind of people normally congregate

It's not even that, it's poo poo like allowing the congress to say "You can't put poison in baby food" and then experts in the FDA decides what is poison instead of congress enumerating every single chemical that they deem to be baby poison.

Well the FDA will still decide what is poison, it’s just that when all the poison manufacturers challenge that decision, the court can just decide that the FDA was wrong for no real reason, unlike currently where they’re supposed to defer to the FDA interpretation if it’s reasonable. If the Supreme Court does what it looks like it’s gonna do, some Texas district court judge can just look at the FDA’s perfectly reasonable list of poisons and say “eh, I disagree”

Oh, and an Air Force Space Command unit flying free-floating balloons in near-space for... something.

Yeah like the recent CHUD Texas judge where he tried to completely reverse FDA approval for one of the abortion drugs. Not just recent changes, but completely remove it from the market. And everyone pointed out 'Hey shitbag judges shouldn't be overriding the FDA's decisions from actual doctors.'

That's the kind of stuff SCOTUS is going to be reinforcing and encouraging with this ruling. Although we'll maybe get a cutesy 'Oh no it won't, trust us.' from the majority opinion like we've gotten before.
