I hope the season is fun. I was hoping to feel excited about it, but it hasn't really hit me yet. Maybe the gauntlet will provide something fun to work towards, but eh. It's really hard for me to get past the unsatisfying itemization D4 currently offers.

Is a ranged Rogue build actually going to be viable this season? Always loved zooming around with a Demon Hunter blasting everything from a screen away in D3 but all of the bow stuff for Rogue that I've tried so far feels really anemic and like 1000x weaker than just doing the one Twisting Blades build.

If it's any consolation, with the new patch you're stronger with a 905 weapon than you were in the old sandbox with a 925 lol Smoll number = sad gamer obviously but like you do more damage, kill big enemy easier, etc

minion AI isn't changed, mobs still walk into traps of screen so that's at partial health or sometimes dead. your minion walks into traps and "dies" easily, uses big cooldowns on single mobs, so i'm guessing it just uses them off cd without regard to if they're AoE or whatever it's hitting for about as much as my basic attack in my mid 30s as barb charge seems cool but even with the over 9000 % damage increase it's not doing much more damage than core skills atm

I had that issue. Teleporting to hub didn’t work, I just went to an over world construct area and did a couple events and went back and it worked. Must’ve been because I switched instances doing that. Minion seems somewhat useless so far but I appreciate there’s a clear quest line that I’m leveling up quite fast on.

Use +Fury On Use nodes on skills like Leap and Stomp. There's a passive in the Ultimates tier that gives you +Fury on weapon swap that greatly soothes the problem. No, you never have enough Fury.

yeah you get enough fury with plenty of builds, especially now that unbridled rage is no longer needed. aspects for rings are the best way until paragon is online charge is an absolute liability in the trap areas, as anyone should have seen coming

double swing attack animation still bugged and sometimes animation locks you for 2-3 seconds. steel grasp still bugged and doesn't always pull mobs in and/or apply vuln, leap still bugged and doesn't always reposition you and/or give 40 fury. charge is a liability in trap areas oh well, guess it's back to triple shout HotA until/if they fix any of those abilities harrygomm fucked around with this message at 22:50 on Jan 23, 2024 |

I am liking this new season. The new dungeons for this season are much better designed and accessible. Blizzard listened and addressed many of my chief complaints about the design of Diablo IV.
