I mean, he's not totally wrong. From what I gathered in the clip he's saying that everyone, even seemingly nice normal people, have racist thoughts and that should be talked about and addressed rather than pretending they don't exist. Now as to what exactly we should DO about racism, that I'm pretty sure he's a good ole boy dipshit about.

big nipples big life posted:"how dare you say I'm not a racist ma'am!" To be probably overly far to fair to the dude, he does go on to say people should go out and talk to people of different races to try and fix racists views. So at least he's acknowledging racism is an issue that should tried to be fixed, and just talking to people your prejudice against is a go way to start. Still a crap answer from a definite racists but I dunno slightly better than no racism does not and never has existed in the US, and just all the poo poo trump has ever said on race, which obviously is just about the lowest bar. God at this point If their not tattooing the swastik on their forehead it's almost a relief.

Hey, goons, have we considered that this time the shithole states might be on the right side of history? I mean, they've been consistently on the wrong side of it for 250 years, but what if this time they're right?

1. Good luck enforcing that. 2. The law is guaranteed 100% to have been written by the technology-illiterate, so it's going to likely encompass far more than they intended. (See: literally any website with a comment section.) EDIT: I retract the second part of #2. I read through the proposed bill and the number of exclusions pretty much means that almost NO platform qualifies. Accipiter fucked around with this message at 02:35 on Jan 26, 2024 |

Republican National Committee considering move that would declare Trump the presumptive nominee https://www.cnn.com/2024/01/25/poli...z13TGmX7n_Iwn7Q A draft resolution circulating among the Republican National Committee would formally declare Donald Trump the Republican Party’s 2024 presumptive nominee. While the former president would still need to reach the delegate requirements necessary to win the nomination, if the resolution is approved, he would have access to the RNC’s data operation, benefit from fundraising with the RNC, and have the support of all of the committee’s ground operations. It would also mean the committee would be supporting Trump and effectively opposing former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley – an unprecedented break from the party’s past approach to the nominating process. The resolution, which is being reviewed by the RNC, was proposed by David Bossie, an RNC committeeman from Maryland who recently endorsed Trump. The resolution was first reported by The Dispatch on Thursday. A draft copy of the resolution was obtained independently by CNN. “RESOLVED that the Republican National Committee hereby declares President Trump as our presumptive 2024 nominee for the office of President of the United States and from this moment forward moves into full general election mode welcoming supporters of all candidates as valued members of Team Trump 2024,” the resolution reads. An RNC spokesperson said in a statement that this resolution is still just a resolution and not the current stance of the committee. Welp, I guess some of the GOP chuds just want to gently caress the primaries altogether now.
