Dude, if he gets elected again, the very first thing he’ll do is dismantle any agency threatening him. Did you forget Bill Barr already?

He wouldn’t need to pardon himself unless he were to be convicted. It wouldn’t get that far because he’d just get the DoJ to drop the charges.

No, what? This isn’t doomerism at all. This is exactly what he did last time he was in office. It’s his MO. He tried to fire everyone who could rule against him and appoint flunkies who would do exactly what he said. Didn’t always work out for him but I would imagine if he wins again, he’ll get more aggressive with it and only appoint Qanon weirdos or whatever. Last time he was trying to placate the GOP. This time he owns it.

E: I may have misread your post. Not sure you’re referring to

Basically this. Also he’ll have enough leverage to force any pending trials/judgements against him into infinite legal hell which is why it’s so important that the criminal trials are wrapped up before the election

??? That isn’t what I’m saying at all? It’s just not possible for an IRS tax evasion trial to conclude before the election. He hasn’t even been charged yet. Bank on the DC/GA charges but these IRS charges likely won’t matter because either A) he wins the election and shuts it down or B) he loses and it won’t matter anyway because he’s already turbofucked

Hardcore religious people want this and have been wanting it for many decades. Education is a threat to their ancient religions that are based on rumors, writings of men suffering from heat stroke in the desert, and fairy tales invented because of mankind's fear of death because they know that people hearing actual factual information will reveal their teachings as laughable nonsense. The religion I grew up in spent endless time and effort into trying to drill into followers' heads to not use the internet and not read or watch the news and to only listen to what they were teaching instead. College was forbidden. Elementary and high school classes were only tolerated because they were compulsory.

Religious, political, or otherwise, an organization actively working to stop access to information outside of what they want you to know fits squarely into the dictionary definition of a cult. Cults tend to not last forever, DeSantis.

Farewell, good Hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.

IF trump loses this election, the full weight of all of these legal consequences he is facing will slam down on him so hard. He will also lose his primary financial pipeline helping him pay for defending himself. He will also lose ALL arguments he’s using to delay trials and push appeals. I imagine it will be around that time he either a) flees the country, or b) dies mysteriously.

I agree except for the financial pipeline. If he loses this upcoming election, he'll immediately announce he's running for election in 2028, right? Why wouldn't he do that? He'll just keep running rallies and asking pepaw to give up his SS check while facing life in prison the same way he does now.

a part of me thinks part of the grand plan is just to dogpile him with so many court cases that he has a heart attack in the courtroom and nobody bothers to try and save him. i love seeing all the pictures of piles of pizza and mcdonalds being brought in to stuff his fat rear end, its amazing he hasnt croaked from eating like a teenager for 60+ years of his life. fun fact: there was a point in his life where he ate 2 big macs, 2 fillet of fish, a large fry and a large chocolate shake, every single day of the week.
