since their second drive he's been rocketing touch passes, throwing high, and generally not giving his (aggressively average) receivers a chance on a lot of plays. he looked like that in the first half last week too. I expect he'll calm down over halftime and start connecting

the chiefs needed 6 inches for the first down and tried some off tackle run when mahomes could have just fallen forward with the ball for the first. they were inside the 15 and would have easily scored after getting the first.
