Deciding to make a Halo show starring Master Chief and then not setting it on Halo and taking off his helmet and having him talk all the time is the most headass way to do it. If you're gonna do Master Chief, just do a straight adaptation. If you wanna get creative and do a talky sci-fi show in the Halo universe....do that? There's a giant universe of extended characters. Make an anthology series jumping all over the place and you can get as talky as you want. Halo Legends did it and that was like 15 years ago.
