Adderall isn't perfect (I've been prescribed it for years) but all of these horror stories either sound like they're lying, not taking it properly, or got some from someone else. Also there's an adjustment period; your doctor isn't just gonna give you 10mg and tell you to have a nice life. At least in NJ they're legally required to have follow up visits every few months to keep the scripts going. I've had a few medication adjustments until it got right.

Their logic goes 1) AI processing speed is incredibly fast 2) humans can't interface with AI through text/speech fast enough to stave off the AIpocalypse 3) communication at the speed of thought is much faster, although still not fast enough 4) nuralink! My understanding is their fear is that a rogue AI will need to be negotiated with at some point to save humanity and we need the fastest communications protocol possible to increase chances our message gets to the AI before it's too late. Total fantasy "good guy with a gun" scenario.

That 2x suicide rate (which I doubt is true) ignores what the suicide rate would be without SSRIs. So if it doesn't completely solve the problem it's bad, even if it drastically reduces the problem. Which is also why they seem to hate vaccines. At least they're consistent in their stupidity.

I'm like 99% positive that if you bitch about the "wokes" you probably got dragged online really badly at some point and are just blaming "sjws/liberals/lefties" for your own dumb rear end saying or doing something stupid. Unfortunately, this happens to everyone at some point (not just vs. "lefties", or whatever, in life you will inherently just find disagreement), and if your reaction was to fall back on "not my fault, it's the wokes" and you take shelter in the ""CHUD"" camp, it more says that you're a person who tends to double down than anything about your personal politics. Unless you are a CHUD, in which case poo poo, go off. This is a hazard, though, because you were probably wrong, and likely stepped on someone's toes, or worse, infringed on someone else's wellbeing, which does make you a dick. The double-down disconnect can also get worse because you kick the can of potential, post-feud mutual catharsis pretty hard if you keep going with it while still adrenalized and trading barbs, and at that point people just assume you're hard in the awkward or dumb paint and will pariah you.
