Sure, I can agree with that. I think there's a difference of tone which may justify different effects: one is an imposition (thus one becomes ascended), the other is disregard (thus one is liberated), if that makes sense.

I mean, to emphasize, this is posting about fiction and some neat concepts referenced. I think that a serious philosophical inquiry on those topics for our world with all that entails is definitely out of my league lol

And thanks for that elaboration on the end there. "Acceptance" is a very fine detail that I didn't see elsewhere about it and makes a lot of difference imho.
