I raise chickens and there’s no such thing as a wasted chicken. They’re garbage birds that just happen to taste good. I’m going to take an unprecedented stand and say it’s both right and wrong. I’ll accept a sixxer either way it goes. I love my little dumb dinosaurs. They’re cute and give me eggs!

Right thread, nobody wants carbon monoxide chicken. When I was in HS I wrapped some chicken breasts in tin foil and cooked them on the exhaust manifold on my '72 Camaro, actually worked pretty well except I did a poor job wrapping them and the juice was dripping out so the car was very deliciously smokey at traffic signals.

I am so torn. It's the right thread because of how the chicken is being cooked. It's the wrong thread because the comedic intent is incredible. wrong... thread.

Beyond the cooking method, I’m just picturing that chicken becoming unhooked from the spoiler it’s on and going airborne into somebody’s windshield or underneath their front end like a Merritt Parkway turkey

Wrong thread. Anyone that has gone that far for a bit would definitely get along with the group here. It’s awesome. If it was being cooked over the headers of a harvest international Scout everyone would be grabbing their forks in here. It’s the prejudice that’s making you say otherwise.

While I think it's hilarious in a way, definitely, "washing greasy chicken drippings off of my windshield and hood" is not something I as a motorist would ever want to do. Plus I really vehemently dislike food waste like this.

Ford finally issued a "Customer satisfaction program" (definitely not a recall!) to fix their lovely windshield wipers that automatically slow down in the rain to "save the wiper motor" from undue stress. Only took a year.

Is it fair to say the Lambo isn't terrible, but rather the "suspended possible projectile" attached to it on a public road? We probably need to define the scope of the thread title lol

PainterofCrap posted:I have a ‘65 Ford and a ‘66 Pontiac. They are both still on their factory-installed wiper motors. WTF. Yeah they invented a problem that afaict has never existed and then in trying to solve it created seriously unsafe driving conditions and then took forever to issue a fix for it. I took mine in last year, they said it was fine, I showed them video of it making GBS threads the bed during a moderate downpour, they said oh okay it's not fine, they put a new wiper motor in it, it didn't fix poo poo. When I first brought it in they pointed to the Ford TSB that said it was supposed to work that way, i.e. if it didn't think there was enough moisture on the windshield then it was supposed to slow down. Here is apparently not enough moisture on the windshield: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/wiper-control-speed-issues-urgent-safety.31809/page-28#post-1834610 e: here's what the not a recall says: quote:Your vehicle is equipped with protection features to prevent damage to the wiper motor in case of overheating, usage on dry windshields, or obstructions to the wiper blade due to snow or ice accumulation on the windshield. In such conditions, the wiper motor may restrict the speed of the windshield wiper, reduce the area of cleaning, or completely stop operation. The system is designed to return to normal operation mode once conditions are resolved; however, in certain circumstances, the wipers have the potential to stay in dry detection mode (intermittent-like speed) while the glass is wet and the rotary stalk switch position is set to Low or High speed setting. bird with big dick fucked around with this message at 00:33 on Feb 8, 2024 |
