I’ll be the ding dong and admit I had never heard of mojo Nixon. I am extraordinarily oblivious though so I don’t know how normal or abnormal that is.

Back when you still had to sign a receipt after paying with a card I'd always sign as Mojo Nixon. It's not like anyone was checking those and even if someone had stolen my identity Nd credit card they would've exposed themselves if they ever signed my actual name instead of Mojo's.

steinrokkan posted:Luigi sold vast amounts of surplus Civil War weapons to the tsar in exchange for asylum and an estate near St. Petersburg, as a landed gentleman of a cosmopolitan disposition he dabbled in the Narodism movement, as was expected from a man of his stature and generation, but then during the Russian revolution he survived by turning lists of politically unreliable Esers over to the Bolsheviks. Later on Luigi gained a prestigious but mostly ceremonial position in the Ministry of Defense under Stalin. His actions in the WWII that led to hiS involvement in the space program remain largely classified, but many witnesses placed him alongside NKVD commandos at Peenemünde in the wake of the advancing Red Army. wild if true

Weird thing I noticed, the way I make twitter still worthwhile is I follow a bunch of cute animal accounts, so the horrible stuff is in between like a kitten snuggling with a giant Doberman. This one is a great one, but I realized it's called "Why you should have an animal" and all of the videos are of wild animals you can't legally own in most of the western world, and probably shouldn't have unless you also own a zoo or a animal sanctuary of some kind. https://x.com/shouldhaveanima/status/1755998085040496883?s=20 Like, yes that's a cute herd of penguins (herd? I don't know the collective noun for penguins) but most people can't properly care for a dozen or so penguins, this is not an argument for pet ownership.

For some arrhythmias the first thing you try is telling the patient to bear down closed-glottis like they’re straining to poop. Again, for vagus nerve stimulation. They say this never works but it has instantly worked for SVT for my patients two times and saved me getting out the adenosine

The plural noun for all animals is actually "a bunch". All the other terms are just made up.
