Ran a good dungeon for my pen and paper group this afternoon and now unwinding with some Severed Steel and Chodewarden. Not sure how I feel about the latter yet, it's interesting but very wordy to the point where I kind of feel like I'm reading someone's grim fantasy novella rather than playing a game. Severed Steel remains ftw but I can only play a few levels at a time before my brain overheats

Reminds me that Tainted Grail is a Dark King Arthur Oblivionlike with Elden Scrolls elements and atmosphere. It has deece combat for a oblivionlike but I don’t think anyone will ever make that poo poo right. Murking guys and seeing their sword physics away like 300 is pretty sick tho.

It’s like what if the legends of King Arthur were lies and really something horrible has been happening which is quite up my alley. There’s some good poo poo like a quest where you’re supposed to offer tribute to a Druid god and these two ghost druids come out and talk poo poo because they made the whole quest up to laugh at retarded adventurers.

Wrapped up the NextFest demos I downloaded, some good poo poo on this one. Millenia, Guild Saga: Vanished Worlds, Crown Wars: The Black Prince, and Pepper Grinder were a few particular favorites, looking forward to their launches. Back on Dragon’s Dogma for a bit and then probably Dragon Quest 11 later, I’ve been playing that game in fits and starts and it’s been a while since the last one. Then when I can get back to my PC it’ll be more Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Very dragon-heavy day today.

anyone played terraria? my brother plays with his kid who's about the same age as my kid and I guess we could do it together online. no idea how combo in-person co-op and online co-op even works, but it'd.be cool to find a way for the cousins to game together, lol
