disconnected whole team as we were finishing the last helldive operation mission staring at the super sample rock tower in front of us  we tried a helldive bot defense, that went about as well as you'd expect also lol@bot vietnam being like 10% liberated and the other one is at like 80%

I think the mags are smaller than the normal AR's, but the rate of fire is also smaller and individual bullets seem to do much more damage so I think it balances out.

Laser Rover + railgun seems like the strongest combo for extra weapon and backpack slot, early levels grenade launcher is great and can make short work of bug nest objectives.

My issues with the explosive ar on the premium track is just doesn't feel good to use personally. I unlocked the auto shotty and boy howdy I love it. The sound, the look, the range everything. I hope other guns feel just as good to use.

I don't have the auto-shotgun yet (and it definitely sounds like my jam) but I think the explosive AR is fun and satisfying. Not AS fun as unloading an entire belt of MG ammo into a horde of bugs while yelling GET SOME, but then few things are. I think someone brought it up earlier in the thread but I have to give serious props to the voice actors. They all nail the mood perfectly, and the super gung-ho turbo moto voice clips are a big part of the overall enjoyment for me.

Is it just the armor value or do none of the stat bonuses work? Because the one heavy armor that reduces explosive damage by 50% sounds like its got a perk. Might not be enough but it does have one. As for ship name I was "Shield of Audacity" then someone pointed out Comptroller was in the list. So now I'm the Comptroller of Destruction.

Fair enough. Was doing pretty good my last round with light armor. Starting gun + SMG + AM rifle worked lovely while also lugging around ammo backpack for myself and the squad. I really want to unlock the railgun because I love having an ammo backpack, but I'm not even level 10, let alone 20.

That Civvie escort mission that's on every single Automaton operation is just straight up impossible unless you have a full premade set up specifically for it, and even then it's ridiculously difficult. Bots drop in literally faster than you can kill them and there's no way I'm doing 7 more of these in the current state, lol.

Like the marksman rifle is in theory very good against bots, but the shots just sound so wimpy that I kinda don't wanna use it and take something louder instead

Just a reminder to those who are tired of playing with random and not having fun we are playing in this discord together. We have a few squads up at any given time of the evening and are playing at all difficulty levels. https://discord.com/invite/96P9xAEGHN I did a full operation on extreme tonight against the bugs and it feels pretty good when everyone knows what to do. We were taking down titans in seconds when we called them out and didn't really have any issues until the game tossed 7 titans at us back to back. Even then we made it out alive and with 10 super rare resources.

We just had a game where the patch dropped right as the dropship was coming in. I DC randomly first (at this point no idea wtf is going on), rejoin. One goon immediately crashes, alright whatever. Then another. We realize whats happening so the last two of us dive into the dropship to outrun the arrowhead crash stratagem. Lost all the resources tho.

Found out that it worked great vs bots yesterday and then found out it is AMAZING vs bugs today. Two shots to the same leg pops Charger armor, and each shot stuns so shooting, reloading, shooting, swapping to your primary and killing the charger with leg shots is super easy and takes like 5 seconds. Two, maybe three? overcharged shots to a Titan head, especially when it's winding up to spit, kills a Titan, which is loving incredible. And you're usually running around with enough ammo that if you need to take a fast shot on a Commander/Hive Guard/Spewer it's not really a problem. Plus it lets you run laser drone pack to obliterate chaff. so, so loving good.
