There is a nice later of comprehensibility to it aswell which is nice With Capone you say "they got him on tax evasion, but he was a mob boss" The accepted narrative is one of technicality and somewhat extrajudicial use of the justice system But with Trump here its fairly fitting for him and his brand, aswell as being relatively legible for the common man. Trump lied about being rich to people who care about money in a way that is criminal. Someone posted earlier how fox news was running a "victumless crime" angle because yeah, that's all you can do. And at that point it's just special pleading which just makes him look weak and poor Are we going to see Trump on domestic airlines? But I feel the more Trump touches the reality of the common man the quicker his shine comes off. And engeron just scuffed Trump pretty bad, perhaps terminally
