I'M ALREADY DRINKING tonight at 8 est on the discord 1. Black Wolf more rambling insanity from william lee. a middle aged cia agent finds out his highschool bullies have become terrorists and it's his job to take them out! 2. Fiend Without A Face disembodied brains on a killing spree 3. Rollerblade Warriors: Taken by Force i think the poster speaks for itself

Fiend Without A Face is actually one of the best 50's scifi monster movies, it's legitimately worth a watch.

Cubone posted:here's the plot of primer (bear with me, I won't even mention time travel) I do think you're right that the character motivations and their reaction to having this technology is more important than the mechanics of what's going on, but I don't agree it's supposed to be some kind of rugpull ending. The mechanics are there if you care enough to agonize over them. The fact that the characters talk to each other like engineers is because they're engineers talking to each other, not the audience. I think the dense dialogue and super low-budget filmmaking are an important part of the package. Anyway, it's also got its own moments of levity. "I haven't eaten since later this afternoon!"

I think the dense dialogue and super low-budget filmmaking are an important part of the package. sorry, I may have phrased that badly when I say it's not "a logical result of the preceding events" I don't mean it's a rugpull or that the mechanics don't make sense, I just mean it's not a direct consequence of the precise turning of the little gears like... 🤔 okay, in back to the future, when marty mcfly gets back and finds his family has created a much better life for themselves, we understand that that's probably a consequence of him getting george to save lorraine from biff tannen in 1955, right? it probably made george more confident and assertive and led to him making better life decisions, and it probably humbled biff. understanding the time travel mechanics in the reality of the movie is vital to understanding that ending but in primer, the ending reveal of him starting a new plan with a bigger box in france? you can put all of the time travel stuff in a blackbox and still understand that scene. (it actually, on paper, hits really hard. like I can't believe the loving balls on this guy, after all that, to want to go bigger, that's insane) but I don't think it hits the way it's supposed to, because the viewers don't realize that they pretty much understood what they needed to on their initial viewing. we're kind of expecting a back to the future type of consequence-of-the-mechanics ending, thinking that what we're seeing has something to do with who secretly brought what disassembled box back in time in another box to before which other box and recreated or changed which conversation with whose past self based on recordings made when... and all that is there, but like I said you can blackbox it

But that wouldn't be a problem for me. I would handle having a Primer machine very responsibly and it would stay within my control.

Your mission is to proceed up the Nung River in a Navy patrol boat. Pick up Colonel Mutt's path at Nu Mung Ba, follow it and learn what you can along the way. When you find the Colonel, infiltrate his team by whatever means available and terminate the Colonel's command.
