Diana is a one note "badass woman", in the most trite and uninspired modern day interpretation of the strong female character bogeyman by alt righters. Her only personality trait is that she is Very Badass, played entirely straight. She chased him in a car when they robbed Cricket Bro's office(but the strip is too PG13 for there to be any consequences if she caught him), got over it and worked with him and did next to nothing as Mark accomplished literally nothing during the not so evil shrimp boat storyline(hit a guy with a shovel, celebrated this 3 times within 3 strips of it happening), and was Mark's super lazy and useless contact for evil tiger zoo(dropped him off, literally vanished until everything was resolved.)

They don't have a beef, Mark is just a very bad actor and has to ham it up for her like a wrestling star every time he sees her.
