Better Living Through Birding And Pessimism
The outcome for the Ravens wasn't unpredictable at all--while we had the ability to destroy pretty much any team when everything was clicking, we couldn't reliably do that. Everyone focused on the 49ers and Dolphins games but ignored the previous two weeks where we had a very sloppy performance against the Jaguars saved by their own mistakes, and then the week before that we could only muster 13 points against the Chargers who had one of the worst defenses in football.

People gave Kurt Warner grief for naysaying our offense throughout the year but he was definitely right about how Lamar needs to take what the defense gives him. But against the Chiefs Lamar was insistent on forcing the ball downfield and it cost us. While he is capable of otherworldly play he just doesn't always play sound football and that is going to lose you games against truly well-prepared teams like the Chiefs. I'd say in all three games divisional conf champ and SB it was their insane level of preparation and situational awareness that gave them the edge against each opponent. Nobody in the league matches that right now and I think if the Chiefs stay healthy next year they will be the first team to win three straight.

If cam didn't want to be known as the softest guy in thaa league he shouldn't have hopped away from his game losing super bowl fumble.

I don't remember Aaron Rodgers losing a super bowl because he jumped out of the way to avoid recovering his own fumble.

Hines was a bigger prick on the field but as far as I’m aware of he was way less of a stupid rear end in a top hat off field than cam is so really it’s a tossup

Peter king is retiring. He may be a boring basic bitch but I still read his column most weeks out of habit. Enjoy your hidden coffee gem Starbucks Pikes Peak or whatever PK

His beer of the week for his final full column was Budweiser lol.

Peter King was a shield bootlicker that probably had some problematic old man takes but I generally liked his presence in the football sphere. Affable fellow that often had some genuinely interesting nuggets in his columns.

Peter King is someone who I frequently disagreed with but generally respected.

I don't think he was quite as much of a shield bootlicker as people make him out to be(he does not particularly like Rog) but he's just an old man with old man sensibilities that often was in alignment with the poo poo the league also thought.

I think his worst general viewpoint was that you shouldn’t take off field stuff into account when considering people for the hall of fame but I think a lot of people probably feel that way and I guess I get it. He was pretty progressive minded otherwise

My new mock:
Bears - Williams
Washington - Daniels
Patriots - McCarthy
Cardinals - Maye
Chargers - refuse to draft MHJ over Harbaugh's hatred of ohio state, take Bowers
Bears trade up from 9 to 6 for MHJ for a third + future 3rd.

Very normal things to tweet out in the middle of the offseason

Reminds me of the time Trump put out a bunch of PR loudly proclaiming that he was DEFINITELY NOT in the hospital for a series of “mini strokes”. Absolutely nobody had said anything about him being treated for mini strokes.
