Here's a space question I've been pondering: Say you were somehow "beamed" out into deep space, between stars(doesn't matter how, just a hypothetical). In a space suit so you're fine (for a while). What medium are you "floating" in? You move your arms and legs, what are you moving in? What does your arm displace, for example, when it moves?

"nothing" would also be a perfectlty acceptable answer, if misleading and not totally accurate

I’m gonna call bullshit that space exploration and the advance of that knowledge and understanding of the universe is a meme. We, as a species, couldn’t measure the electromagnetic spectrum until within a few human lifetimes ago and now we’re able, and increasingly able to, at a pace that will only continue to increase as technology expands, learn more and more detail about the universe, near and far. Despite how far we’ve come, we are really still at the absolute dawn of that understanding relative to the scale of 4.5 billion years. There’s so much out there that we know we don’t know, and absolutely no telling what’s out there that we don’t know that we don’t know! That’s super loving exciting!
