Not sure any corner gets a first in a tag and trade except maybe Diggs with both ACLs and maybe Gardner at the beginning of the year.

I think we're being pretty pessimistic here.

Jalen Ramsey fetched 2 firsts and a 4th and the Rams had to give him a new deal a few months later.

Sneed is an elite tier corner and can fetch an overall value of a first round pick. Only thing that will hurt the value would be the Chiefs desire to move him quickly but this FA and draft class doesn't seem to be great beyond Jaylon Johnson.

I refuse to say a draft doesn't have much for corners when Sneed himself was a fourth round pick.

I hope Merritt stays though

The other thing is no team wants to give the Chiefs a 1st round pick.

Diggs the Cowboys corner? He is a poor mans Marcus Peters, I'd take both Chiefs starters over him. Probably over Gardner too but I like our players and am being biased. McDuffie especially is like a perfect cornerback. Sneed is real good at most things but not as good at pure man coverage as McDuffie.

Surtain would probably be worth a first but yeah LMAO at Diggs. Didn't he give up more yards than anyone else with comparable snaps or something? I know basically he takes a ton of chances which results in the INTs but he also whiffs a lot too. The big INT numbers just make people think he's better than he actually is.

Sneed, to use the parlance of our times, is a dog. Would be at home on the early 2010s Seahawks defenses. The clip of him pressing Tyreek into the turf from the wild card game was hilarious.

I’m curious about that, a pick puts more variance into play unless you think keeping Sneed on tag ensures Jones walks out the door. If your Detroit and you meet KC in Super Bowl would you rather have Sneed or the pick + cap space. If you’re Arizona and you got cap spaces and extra picks do you just want to bring talent into the building because your team sucks.

Trying and failing for a second threepeat was just as exciting even if it didn't end the way I wanted it to re: Lakers.

Grats to everyone on the new +$15m of free cap space. I think Chargers are only like $10m over the cap now.

Usually I would agree, most of the smoke relating to WR will likely be misdirection.

I do remember them hosting Rashee Rice in for formal visit last year - https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2023/03/30/kansas-city-chiefs-2023-nfl-draft-smu-rashee-rice-top-30-visit/

I'd really, really like to see Xavier Worthy in the Chiefs Offense too.

I worry about someone as light as Worthy. But that said, I’m sure there are successful receivers over 6 feet tall who are 175 lbs. I just can’t think of them.

“Chased by Jason David” gave PTSD.

He was the DB so bad that he gave up more yards per catch than unguarded receivers.

I find it hilarious that son of a HOF WR actually has better measurables. Joey Porter Sr vs Joey Porter Jr is reasonable, Harrison being bigger and faster than dad is genetic lottery bull poo poo.
