You tripled your money? Those are boomer numbers for a boomer coin. I bought a stock that 4x'd on me since November.

Face it, boomer: if you bought Nvidia or Meta or some other big tech stock since the 2022 lows, you would have made more money from the lows or the previous ATHs with less risk and more reward. Should have sold your lovely BTC in 2021 and bought something with a better return, boomer.

Edit:

"Investors are getting turned on to the fact that bitcoin can be treated as an uncorrelated asset, which makes it extremely attractive for portfolio diversification," Joel Kruger, a market strategist at digital currencies exchange LMAX Group, told CBS MoneyWatch.

LMAO. "Uncorrelated asset." Bitcoin trades like a pumped up NASDAQ. Goes up with the rest of the market, dumps on high inflation, pumps on the Tether and/or fiat printer. Bitcoin ATH at market ATH in 2021; bitcoin low at market low in October 2022; possible bitcoin ATH at NASDAQ ATH right now. Straight garbage!

Probably not. His story changes constantly. He did a stint as a regretful investor in crypto for awhile, bemoaning the ecological damage it causes, then he just sort of 180'ed on that.

It has also been brought up that most of his stories aren't logically consistent at all and he likely either isn't invested in crypto, or has lost money on it.

Probably just trolling because we're a community that keeps listening to him. There's really no point in talking to that guy. You're just picking on a mentally ill person. He did some pedo-defending, though, so idk maybe have at it.

I don't see any rational investor shorting something with a tiny float that is easily manipulated. There's no balance sheet or market forecast, no consumption and production demand metrics. Buying and shorting btc is for the gamblers.

And just as the markets took a dump today, so did bitcoin. "Uncorrelated asset."

If this 1% increase over the previous ATH is really the new ATH, that doesn't bode well for the "get rich with bitcoin" folks.

That’s a pretty impressive grift. Bid up the price of bitcoin using fake dollars and then sell them to bag holders for real dollars. I guess as long as tether is useful for money laundering and there’s enough churn it’s probably reasonably sustainable

Back when Twitter was a septic tank, as opposed to the broken septic tank it is now, I got into an argument with a guy that said the central banks were the cause of the war in Ukraine. He didn't really seem to understand what a central bank was or what they do.
