Hi folks. I lived in Seattle for a year and half and want to print and frame some landscapes from my time out here. Hard to decide, of course. Here's a selection. What would you hang up, if any? 1) Washington Landscapes 2) Washington Landscapes 3) Washington Landscapes 4) Washington Landscapes 5) Washington Landscapes 6) Washington Landscapes 7) Washington Landscapes 8) Washington Landscapes

What would you hang up, if any? If it were my wall, this one would get my vote. Probably because I tend towards the monochromatic, but also because I like the singular subject without any distracting foreground. I realise others may appreciate the foreground framing, though, so don't take my preference as gospel.

I like the one above it as well, but I'm not a fan a portrait that tall going on the wall. But it has nice depth and an array of color always helps too.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah 4 is probably the best one. Here's two more, just for fun - the first one is basically like 3) but a landscape orientation, which I agree makes more sense than portrait for a....landscape photo. The second one (from the incredible Cascade Pass trail, if anyone's interested) I almost included in the first round, but there's something about it that slightly irks me, maybe that it's so high contrast. Still, wanted to see what you all think. Untitled Untitled

I think it's got a lot of pluses, good depth, color contrast, and a nice variety of scenery. Plus epic craggy peaks. So you got a lot going for you but I feel like the light isn't doing any favors. I'm feeling like a 16x9 frame, lit from the left, and some cloud textures would be a more ideal situation. So keep going back until nature cooperates.

Yeah, I'm really digging the contrast between the 3d isometric perspectives and the flat blank spaces in most of these so far. Like, the images have a nice flat 2d impression, but the subjects are undoubtedly 3d in depth.

I've been to the grand canyon twice and strongly suggest if one ever visits the place be on the rim at sunset, I saw bonkers light both times. Lots of dust in the air so clear skies or clouds doesn't matter. If the western horizon has a gap you gonna get a show.
