HM: Jeff Cobb vs. Yota Tsuji - New Japan Cup 3/10 Cobb was being as impossibly strong as ever, but Tsuji reminded everybody why people were talking about him being IWGP Champion on his first match back from excursion. drat good match that washed the bad taste of the previous match's House of Torture bullshit clear away.

New Japan Cup Night 3 - 8 March 2024 HM: Yuya Uemura v. Shingo Takagi, New Japan Cup Round 1 New Japan Cup Night 4 - 10 March 2024 MOTYC: Jeff Cobb v. Yota Tsuji These guys had the crowd going NUTS! Jeff Cobb is one of my eternal favs and Tsuji has really grown into his character. Really fun power v. power match. Kind of an underwhelming tournament through the first round. Things should pick up though. Well, I guess there's still a Toru Yano singles match on the most recent card. After that it should pick up.

HM 9th March All Japan Dream Power Series Night 1 Hokuto Omori & Katsuhiko Nakajima vs New Period (Ryuki Honda & Yuma Anzai) Watch this here MOTYC 9th March All Japan Dream Power Series Night 1 PWF Junior Heavyweight Title Dan Tamura(c) vs Rising HAYATO Watch this here I really didn't vibe with the Tag Title match that was before this, I find that Suwama & Suzuki knocking each other out only to still win made Ashino & Ikemen look like chumps (what is it about Suwama making Ashino look like a chump?). But this poo poo right here is what I watch All Japan for. Two great young talents, different styles but both adored by the faithful & both meshing so well.

This is fantastic. Highly, highly recommended. Dragongate really knocked it out of the park on Night 1 of their tag league.

WMOTYC: EVIL vs. Hikuleo - New Japan Cup 3/13 This was bad even by the egregious standards of a House of Torture match, but the ending may be one of the stupidest things I can remember: House of Torture gets run off backstage after endless amounts of interference/cheating, leaving Hikuleo and EVIL in a one-on-one situation where... EVIL just promptly beats Hikuleo without a single problem anyway. This all happened in front of a completely disinterested crowd, and usually you can at least say House of Torture's bullshit seems to (bafflingly) work in the building with the Japanese crowd, but not this time. Utter dogshit. Poop. From a butt.

NJPW New Japan Cup March 13th HM Shingo Takagi vs Gabe Kidd - Very much enjoyed this but didn't hit the heights I was hoping from these guys Also enjoyed the Hikuleo vs EVIL match more than I thought I would given the WMOTYC nod above, crowd weren't molten but they absolutely weren't sitting on their hands
