The algorithm is giving me a lot of Prodigy tracks and I just realized it's like listening to "golden oldies" music in the 80s :corsair:

If it makes you feel better, at least you didn't pass out trying to get something out that felt like one, like I did earlier this year.

happened on monday night when i went to a jimmy eat world/fall out boy concert. the singer of one of the opening acts, the maine, asked if people in the audience were old enough to have myspace accounts and then called us a bunch of old bastards, then proceeded to talk about how their band has been around "a long, long time" (formed in 2007).

my yosposters in stebe, jimmy eat world formed in 1993 and the statement instantly turned me to ash

in germany it isn't against the law for your skeleton to escape. it's considered a natural urge, like drinking beer or pissing

I thought this was a retcon to deal with a few stories that got out of hand? Like "you aren't allowed to eat ice cream in your bath tub on a Tuesday Evening" laws that show up for no good reason

it's actually a holdover from WW1 where several skeletons appear to have torn off their own skin and ran away during gas attacks

in the modern era it is assumed they were simply the skeletons of men who's flesh had dissolved during the attacks. but the law remains

Sure, though it's still weird and funny that someone made a song called "Strong, Stiff, Doughboy Bones (are gonna make the Kaiser moan)" which sounds like it's going to be innuendo, but it's just typical patriotic nonsense about skeletons (?!)

just yesterday i heard isis by the goo goo dolls on my local classic hits station. the song was released in 1998.

i haven't heard a nickelback song in a long time, but then again when i do have my radio on i rarely stop on the modern rock station because i don't want to listen to imagine dragons.
