Yeah I thought that was locks big motivation to sign with the giants. A chance to start because Daniel Jones sucks ans will get injured and if Drew lock preforms decently he can maybe parlay that into a bigger contract

It makes sense for both the Chargers and the Bears. Chargers need cap space and are doing a soft rebuild. Bears need reliable receivers regardless of whether they do the smart thing and draft a new QB and they have a poo poo load of cap space.
