got an actual fun bug where my character thought she was bleeding from the chest but had full health/no DOT just constant screaming and complaining for the entire mission with nothing wrong lol

Spawned for the first time on the new event mission type, pod landed in a cooling pond of some kind, died instantly. 10/10 would dive again.

Yeah wish the pods had some tracking UI so you can quickly see where your poo poo dropped and where out of bounds/water is Also, PS5 turned real stuttery in the termicide map yesterday

I didn't realize the sickle was a laser, I heard the sound and assumed it was like a railgun minigun and the ammunition was so small as to not be worth counting

I want some kind of mobile shield generator so there's a bonus to stick close to teammates like darktides team coherency. Unsafe mode shield backpack? Jeep with a spot on top to drop a sentry? Blood mister backpack that farts a stim cloud when you inject yourself? Just any carrot to make pubbies not wander too far.

Okay sure but you can turn off public matchmaking. Just ask your friends to not join you or go in offline mode  Edit: OP said "I wish you could dive alone" and I was just saying that you can dive alone.

Due to past shenanigans, I have about 300 people on my friends list. All but 6 are Goons. And I AM in offline mode. It doesn't stop anything.

You still show up on the in game interface as joinable. You would be surprised how much of a fit "ask your friends not to join" can raise. I have two separate circles of friends that play Helldivers, and members of those circles have crossed over before with disastrous results from personality clashes. This does not stop either group from trying to wordlessly join on me when I'm playing with the other group and then pick fights, and saying "please don't" every time causes problems of its own. Every other online game for years now has figured out how to make invite only lobbies. I'm sure the devs can do that here, too, and it solves the problem much more cleanly.

so does the incendiary breaker just kinda suck? i picked one up off a body and it seems awful and idk what weird play you could do to wrangle it into effectiveness. it seems to do less damage than the normal breaker, but it does set stuff it hits on fire, though it doesn't set the ground on fire like the flamethrower does, and the fire DoT effect is piddly in this game. have to reapply it several times just to kill those smallish jumping bugs.

imo it would be good to be able to disable the third person reticle because it's effectively worthless while also making the things right around your actual crosshair harder to see

I'm not sure if it works if they added you via a friend code in-game but when set to Invisible I did not show up in the list of steam friends for him to join.
