The talent on the show called filming the first 13 episodes "the dark ages" because of how cheap, ragged and dangerous it was. Helmets won't look good with the costume, just tackle these people straight onto the concrete.

Good ol' MPTP/MPPP and Parkinsonism

Edit: MPPP is killer heroin, MPTP is a waste product of the production and induces permanent Parkinson's symptoms

This is why you don't trust yourself, and require an independent audit as to the content and purity of API before signing off that it's cool to turn into pills or injectables, if you are a cog in a drug cartel that is operating within legal framework.

The rumor is that he loved him some smack at the same brief time people were cooking MPTP that he could get

It's all coincidental and anecdotal, but it also all lines up with a 29 year old being diagnosed with Parkinson's when he was.

If my experience is any indication, your rear end in a top hat driving skills are expanded & honed based on the rear end in a top hat-driver quotient of the urban area you are required to negotiate in a vehicle.

I do things driving in Philadelphia that I would never do anywhere else (except the Garden State Parkway, at 4x the speed)

You probably learn to drive like that trying to get to an emergency as fast as possible or to the hospital after leaving a scene. If you or someone you liked was in the back of that thing you probably wouldn't care so much.

It doesn't take long driving in a crowded city before most people just say "gently caress this poo poo" and id imagine ambulance, fire etc are probably the same way except they need to be somewhere right fuckin now and have the right of way, vs middle manager tom in his clapped out Chrysler 300 who thinks he's the big man because he just got that 100$/yr raise on his salary.

TBH that video looked like "big city driving.mp4" to me, maybe a mildly aggressive taxi driver, I didn't even think it was an emergency vehicle

The real OSHA in the that video is wearing your gloves while driving. To answer your question it varies from region to region. Some places in the US or other countries hand you a set of keys and say "figure it out". Other places make you do advanced driving courses of varying levels. My service had us do 3 weeks driving training, and before you passed that you were not allowed to even sit in the driver seat of an ambulance.
