They are all definitely under 30 but none of them are under 25. I don't know how many big movie role actors I can name that are under 25. I feel like they used to exist. But yeah, I'm probably just an old.

The trailer for his upcoming movie really reminds me of Man From UNCLE, at least stylistically, so I'm hoping it'll turn out well!

I will.

Part of the reason I submitted to a Boston based festival in the first place was because my wife has people in the area and I thought that if it got in it would be easier to actually show up than for a film festival in say Texas, Zaire, or Luxembourg.

Never traveled outside Europe before and actually having to show anyone more passport let alone fill out a bunch of paperwork is new and exciting.

I just found out that in honor of the 50th anniversary of Nikkatsu's Roman Porno series, Koji Shiraishi did a fake documentary about an aspiring idol who discovers she has a talent for hitting men and is invited to a BDSM club where she becomes a BDSM idol and falls in love with a dominatrix.

There is, of course, no way to watch it in the English speaking world and that has me putting holes in my drywall.

SRS would make sense yeah. But I think that would be a bit of a shame, because a physical release would be a great opportunity to get more people to see the movies, and SRS is so niche.

Also, while I do love SRS and have nothing but good things to say about Ron Bonk, if Shiraishi’s stuff gets a US release I would hope that it would be…

…better than that

I dont disagree tbh, I'd love to get a vinsyn/terrorvision/severin style release for Koji with a book on films and all the extra frills. I just think if someone was going to put out a Koji set by now srs would be an easy fit.

Hes got enough material for 3 sets imo

Individual releases for the movies and a set for Senritsu Kaiki File would suit me down to the ground. I want Occult with slip cover. And I think a lot of people who aren’t familiar with Shiraishi would be curious about Shirome if they heard the premise.

I'm guessing it was the actual volume of the movie and not the violence, and the noisiest parts happened to be the most violent.

I say that if your very young teen is still happy to go to the movies with you, you choose a real film. You don't have to make it the terrible action or horror flick they might want but something other than Kung Fu Panda.

Unless the kid chose, because he knew mom would sleep through Dune and would have a heart attack at Love Lies Bleeding?

Or am I missing something and Kung Fu Panda is fun for all ages like Shrek?

There's apparently a movie being released soon about the heart-warming bond between a man an a wounded fox he found. It's set during WWII. And the man is part of an Austrian unit that occupied France.

Unless that fox whispered to the man to desert or to sabotage his side I really don't understand how this is a story we're meant to want to see.
