I need to think of something to photoshop. Kinda thinking to stack up some stuff for ideas. I always have fun with making fake video games, but I think if I do that again I wanna have a bunch from the start. Randomly generated video titles sounds kinda fun too. I can't even remember unfinished projects anymore. Anyways, I'm gonna work on something in the future days and hopefully something good comes of it. TinyDoom has had a bit of a temp this week, so I've decided I'm just gonna keep making him lounge and play games with me. He seems fine, maybe alil scratchy. 99 doesn't seem super high, but temps are weird. So, while he's too ill for daycare but not sick, I think we might just grab some electrolytes and hit the park to let him wear out on stuff then catch a bit of a nap tomorrow. I learned some stuff about like glacial dust making hills here, something like that, recently. I think I was told it in school at some point, but why would that be a big focus. It's pretty awesome though. winds just moved fine particals around until they stuck. There was stuff about a dude that made sense of it because there were bits of shells in places that shouldn't have had them. just pretty cool that there's ways to figure out how a hill ended up being a hill. |

I got so used to hearing bad medical news that I'm now somewhat immune to any kind of medical news, no matter of good or bad I've been having trouble breathing lately and been coughing up blood for a while and my doctor was like uh oh that's surely metastasis and poo poo, since I wasn't able to continue on my regular let's fight this thing treatment for weeks now, after my liver collapsed and this fee time off duty was a blessing for the thing in my brain that wants to eat my bones So then we found out there's apparently tumors in my lungs now and metastasis of any kind was always the final sentence for me given the nature of my cancer and so hearing this should have shocked me but it didn't Well we did some more tests and it became clear oh it is NOT tumors it's a bad inflammatory response to the intense radiation during my treatment, with a special rare kind that it wandered down into the lungs as a weird result of a harmless infection Anyways now it's very easy to treat and the formet shock should have turned into a big relief, but again, it didn't! Don't get me wrong, I know I have four major psychiatric diagnosis, funnily I had all of them long before I had the physical ones, but it still sometimes surprises me! It does, in a weird way, make life more chill tho, as you get tired of the fear at some point

In funnier news, I tried to work on some grave plants again on my graveyard I sometimes volunteer work on and one of the super pink flowers I planted started to look like a really big smiling face and I forgot to take a photo of the smiling flower

gag you are one hardcore motherfucker for sure semi related here's the mama crow i've been feeding for almost 2 years now. she used to take food up to her screaming baby and now the baby is the lookout who screams its rear end off for the mom to come eat some snax (roasted unsalted peanuts and dog kibble)

I am back in Santa Fe and very loving high! But I also did my laundry, so I'm responsible! Today, I witnessed my father make a hummus wrap on the back of his sedan. Using the top of the trunk as the plate. This happened while packed at a rest area.

Today the upper German parliament, it's a bit like our version of the senate, is debating about legalizing  after it already was passed in the lower parliament, kinda our house of representatives, last month, so it's a very exciting morning! If it goes through, there's only our president left to sign it (and our president is much less powerful than the potus), so it's basically through, but if it doesn't get through today, it might land in an infinite limbo for good, so, everyone, please hope for the best and let's hope my homeland of Germany, for once, does something not idiotic

 We made it! Some of the delegates had some fat bong hits before the vote started as far as I heard, so we were in luck! Starting on April 1st (no joke, that's literally the date) we can now own and smoke weed like hell. We cannot... buy it... legally.. for some reason, but we can own it. Don't ask where we're supposed to get it from, the law doesn't tell us. Either way,  !!!

Came across a story about a TikTok mom getting flamed on the website. Fair enough, she's an adult posting videos of her family on the tween site for imaginary Likes from tweens. But this specifically had to do with her sharing how she lets her old make themselves a flat white on the weekends or have one small coffee-drink when they're out at a nice cafe. People were legit calling for CPS. By the time I was in 7th grade (so 13 or maybe even 12) teachers would hand us money on our breaks to go buy them a large coffee with two milks and get the same for ourselves. We also got coffee at boy scout and girl scout trips (the instant kind). Even not so long ago kids drinking coffee was a running gag on television in movies. The kid would come down and grab the pot as a confused mom or dad asked 'since when do you drink coffee?' in surprise but not actually stopping the. I think in Real Steal there's a gag where the kids drinking like seven cups to stay up and work on a robot. Was that really that long ago? Anyways, more for me. |

I have an idea for a game. I'm not sure what format/medium for it yet. The basic idea is leveling by choosing an archetype per level. but rather than something like [class] gets [skill + ability], I want leveling to be marginally impactful on a small scale. So, you theoretically can level up to infinity. Why cap progress? Levels would be pretty easy XP wise and based on your level. Being level 100 and one shotting a level 3 gets you some reduction... xp based on level could be like 3000/((100-3)/.5)=15.5 or something like (el+((yl-el)/.5))+(el*10) I know that's a different formula but I"m trying to figure out how to do it. the exp something is worth is it's level*1000 and then the difference is factored and a baseline is still made. The problem is that (el*10) can be exploited to some extent without huge level gaps. so some exponent of el to be used to generate a level of reward that makes sense. (I don't have ruby on this computer yet so doing this poo poo is hard without paper to keep track of the record of what I"m doing) The basic thought is that you would be better off killing someone a level or two lower than slaughtering a bunch of low levels. I'm not sure if there is a game forum to discuss this, but I am currently super tired and I don't wanna lose my thought. I can work out this math thing later. it's wont matter much in the long run because I can't really make games... maybe a side scroller. then you can get huge boosts by fighting strong things, I know this is normal(I just wanna play with numbers), and you get several opportunities to select an archetype. it's nothing to do with skills or abilities. it's just numbers. I don't know what stats would be used, but that will play heavily. so like a 4 stat system with s,a,i,c lets you have 6 combos of a couple stats to add. more stats and like 8 stats s,a,d,i,w,c,l,e and things getting 3 boosts comes up to 56. each with various degrees of change. I'd really hate to have it statistically analyzed so there is a 'correct' way, so I'd want some randomization. Limited options. It's starting to sound like I'm doing Ruby setup in my head. I'm sure the basis would be workable into other stuff. Clickteam has a nice bit for expressions. I had an idea and just wanted input. |
