It's my first day of my new full-time contract the first non casual employment I've had in nearly 20 years and I'm sick so I called in sick but I just remembered sick days accrue like holiday pay so I don't even actually have sick pay. Anyway it feels pretty gnarly but it's my Friday so I'm drinking a beer and getting high and ik gonna have a nap and hope for the best

Found out that i have hypermobility in my kneecaps the very best way possible -dislocating my knee on a stage performing music in front of people. over 30 degrees extension in my knees which was a new record for the pyshio practice (anything 10 and under is normal) got back up and powered through the rest of the set which in hindsight was probably not the best idea but i wasnt going to pull a Grohl and sit in a loving chair. thankfully no serious damage, justneed some rehab and regular strength training to improve stability. something the physio pointed out that i wasnt really aware of was the previous trauma caused by previous dislocations has trained my brain to freak out whenever that area of my leg is hurt, which included the treatment today.
