If they're doing it privately it's basically just another form of BDSM where there are bad actors that use it as a form of abuse and good actors that use it as a way to express love. My mom is absolutely not a tradwife type, but I have friends whose moms were basically that (they just didn't post online about how it's the best way to be) and they're still married and have grandkids. My grandma was kind of a tradwife, met my grandpa at her job, but quit when she got married, she did part time work occasionally, and they raised 4 kids together and seemed happily married until she died, she was also a 50's stereotype in that she smoked like a chimney and then got lung cancer.
