His fake wife's username Fio came from Metal Slug. His fake Japanese best friend's name Hikkiari is just a misspelling of that song from Kingdom Hearts.

while learning forum lore i stumbled upon an old thread of a pkmn mystery dungeon lp, which almost immediately got closed because people just assumed the op was a deviant furry since it had an isekai gimmick. now i'd chock this up to 2008 SA being a lot less forgiving when it comes to ppl consuming kids content, but there were 20-30 year olds here genuinely angry over a loving pokemon lets play gimmick. honestly proves that some of the worst tendencies of terminally online people automatically assuming "nefarious poo poo must be happening i know all the porn tropes" started here, which of course rubbed onto reddit and resetera in modern times

People misunderstood the premise of a PMD LP and got mad about it: boring Forums Lore. Not worth bringing up. A guy made a 6,000 page colour-coded Word doc exploring his mental illness adjacent to one particular Pokemon romhack: funny Forums Lore. Should be brought up once or twice in proper context. A guy created a cinematic universe around his entire life and wove it into his LPs, including killing off fake family members for Sweeps Week: amazing Forums Lore, talk about that instead you weird thread crasher. Or just leave, you know. That'd be cool too.
