To be fair, the world is currently in an extremely bad state and getting severe brain worms from that is perfectly understandable, and while it is not good to look at it and think at it, it is also not good to not do those things.

Actually since you're here, and this is just tangentially related to the thread's ostensible brief, but I still think your playthrough of FFXIV where you pretty much ignored the story to just cruise the casino and nightclub RP scene was genuinely inspired. It's a shame people got weird about it but I'm glad you did it, that was good stuff.

I also burned out on FF14 because its just too railroading the character to everything which isn't what I want in an MMO, its a shame because it has the absolute best RP I've ever seen in an MMO

I considered a similar idea of playing VR Chat with a streaming crew where I would explore random worlds and see what was out there, like there was a world that was just the entire map of Kamurocho which was sick as hell. Between my hacked together PSVR setup not always playing nice and blundering into two separate dragon orgies, I decided to shelf the project and do some more planning.
