Lycoris Recoil is a fun show with some cool action and yuri BUT it does chicken out at the end and doesn't show both of them happily married (even though the subtext is not exactly subtle). Might also be because they are old enough to marry yet too.

The (full) ED slaps and the eyecatches that change every episode are S-tier. If you don't want to suspend your disbelief multiple times per episode as the cute girls don't murder anyone with the hundreds of bullets they shoot, just watch those and Sabagebu! for your cute-girls-doing-gun-things fix. I guess I've been duped too many times by anime with two female leads, I don't even bother hoping for anything gay in the text any more.

making the characters act all gay with each other and then ending the series with them having a firm handshake does seem like the worst of both worlds. If the target audience is fujos you don't actually need to put in any gay subtext in the first place. Just have two hot dude characters stand next to each other and they'll be raring to go

I read all of Beastars and drat that last fourth of the series was terrible. why did the author introduce hannibal lecter but a gazelle-leopard hybrid, he sucks up all the good elements of the series like a quality black hole also why the gently caress did legoshi learn the hybrid animal martial art if he's not gonna loving use it
