So Mark did a thing he didn't actually do offscreen and he is so fantastically stupid that he has to be told that they're their to uncover what Tad is covering up. Again, Mark already knows this. And he couldn't put these activities together.  I can't wait for the reveal because it'll be at least as stupid as this setup.A good writer or even an average one that could string together a plot and some jokes would do really well by writing a low stakes comedy where Mark is genuinely dumb as hell.
