I do think that not having a bunch of other trash on the ground and seeing people pick it up makes it a lot harder to toss your own trash on the ground. Also, rural areas often have lots of large trash like furniture or appliances that you would have to pay to dispose of, up to cars in some cases.

You can carry "trash" with you until you find the right place to dispose of it you know. It's not even hard usually. "Oh no, now I have an empty single use plastic container I am responsible for. I couldn't possibly put it in my pocket, backpack or carry it in my hand, I guess I'll just throw it on the ground here like a fuckwit." Humanity deserves what it has created.

I hadn't noticed for IDK some decades that there is a serious lack of public rubbish receptacles in much of the city (there is an abundance in certain spots), because I just... don't usually produce any rubbish when I'm outside. I can't even remember how it happened that I had something I wanted to throw away once, but I had to change course to take me to a bus route (bus stops often but not always have bins). e: Oh it was probably a paper tissue I had blown my nose in big time stylee. That's the only thing I can imagine anyway.

AFAIK, you want koboldai and also download an already-trained model someone stole unless you want to spend a few literal months crunching it on your consumer grade gpu, and then add additional sources which is i think cheaper? just don't ask me how to do any of that cause i have no idea lmao also if you have an AMD GPU, i'm pretty sure it won't work on windows lol

I'm not super interested in making a virtual goon not to mention that it feels invasive to me and doing it without the permission of the site owners feels a bit fraught. I also don't actually know how to train an LLM model (unless some kind goon wants to help me) but just scraping text is something that I can snap my fingers and accomplish. I had a job doing it for years. I think I'm probably just going to figure out how to use someone else's model and then I'll decide what to do with it later.

i looked it up real quick cause i was curious and apparently yeah, people download big LLMs some corpo like zuccbook trained by just scraping the entire internet of text content and jamming it through their datacenters to crunch it then you get your own content and push it to the $2000 gpu on your ~gaming pc~. this then only takes up to a week or two of it running full tilt, to then get text output that kinda passes for something similar to the content you added it's an insanly wasteful process for something that won't trick anyone that wouldn't also get tricked by a markov bot for more than like 5 replies, lol also, the website where people share these models is called huggingface, which just makes me think of halflife headcrabs lmfao
