This more than anything else is what turned me off of OSW. It was fun when they ripped on the worst parts of 90s WCW and WWE but holy poo poo their taste in modern stuff is terrible. Deadlock is way more fun since those guys know they're numbskulls at the end of the day.

Not specifically just OSW but I'm surprised that it turns out the people who make fun of the standard WrestleCrap™ stuff of the '90s and even the '00s don't actually have good taste in wrestling.

Always remember that the former President was dumber than the dumbest person you've ever met by a wide margin

When I was still using Twitter any post I made about AEW would be swarmed with replies like “AEW sux” and a half dozen accounts all posting “nobody watching this”. If you looked at the accounts that posted it they were very obviously bots in that they had under 50 followers, followed thousands of people, and would all say basically the same thing again and again.

Considering some of the insanity we see in this very forum, I’m not surprised that some people spend actual money online to create these bot armies to hype up their hatred of AEW.

Sorry, I'm quite busy at the moment.
Tights and Fights has been pro-WWE and anti-AEW for years.

Before I stopped listening, I remember one of the hosts criticizing the women's division in AEW versus WWE. That was before I was watching AEW regularly, but even then, that was a real :wtc: moment.

Yeah I was about to say that I really liked their "CM Punk is not mad" episode. Obviously I'm biased but it was basically an execution and that pleased me, especially their takedown of all his "I'm trying to run a business here" rhetoric and how his booking of Collision proved otherwise.

EDIT - I've just recommended the exact episode you linked. FFS. I'm keeping it up

aside from clapping back with the cm punk footage, aew kinda stepped aside while wwe was on the road to wrestlemania and quietly did its own thing. wwe fans & bystanders got what they wanted with cody winning at wrestlemania and to them it heralds in a new era since it seems like it wasn't something vince the sex monster would ever do, so now it's up to wwe booking cody's reign properly during the summer to try to siphon off heat for aew's build to all in, which will begin in earnest with dynasty

Like, Konuwa doesn't even try to hide the fact he's got a direct line to Stamford now, even if you discount the charcuterie board thing.

The fast national ratings are expensive to get a hold of week after week – even AEW don't pay for them – and we're supposed to believe that Konuwa isn't getting them straight from WWE's press office (but only when Rampage or Collision do bad)?

Punching and chops. He's so so so good at both. Every single Shane Taylor match I wince with how loud his chops can get.

Honestly there's nothing better in wrestling than a big fat dude who talks mad poo poo. It was true for Kevin Steen, it's true for Shane Taylor, it'll be true in the future too. :allears:

Ogogo actually seems pretty good when he's not tied to a "Rarrgghhhh Britain good, USA bad!" gimmick and adds a fun dynamic to STP.

You have a big beefy strong guy, a tall punch guy, and a smaller technical guy. That gives them a LOT of opportunity for fun and varied matches with a lot of guys. Good stuff.
