Rinkles posted:was it good? Severance is kind of dated but it’s still pretty fun. There’s a PS4 port! It’s definitely got some late-90s FPS influence going on in how it was all put together too, really neat little game. Unfortunately the port can’t show off how the game was insanely well optimized and could run well on a potato back in the day. It was pretty impressive for its time as a result.

I feel like that ending should have been mandatory for the first playthrough because the stuff they change up for ng+ makes you feel like a real rear end in a top hat if you already got the good one so you’re deliberately going for the bad one

I only played the demo that came with one of those Codemasters compilation discs and spent most of my time clubbing stuff with a detachable chair leg never getting very far. Seemed good.

More Elden Ringing last night. Well on my way to my str/int build. In contrast to my first blind run of the game, the second playthrough of immediately beelining to all the poo poo I need to power myself up for the early game is just as satisfying. I'm gonna do some good work with this meteoric ore blade I think. The muscle memory has returned

I mean, yeah Keanu's not the best dramatic actor nor does he have a lot of range. But so far as action leads go, he's one of the greats. His comedic chops aren't too shabby either. More importantly, he's a super cool human in general and shall not be disrespected.

Nic Cage is basically just always as good as the movie he's in, good movie good Nic, bad movie bad (but sometimes extremely funny) Nic. Big respect for actors who take on any job because 'hey it's work' lol
