Correct me if I’m wrong, but weren’t the camera men constantly filming, and a guy like Dunn was in the back watching feeds from these multiple camera men saying when to cut? Its not like every time there was a cut a camera man put down their camera lol.

Anyway the Sami Zayn shot is cool but if they really wanted to Montreal it up it should have started with him at Lucien L'Allier and having to take all those loving steps and the walkway.

I saw so many things go wrong in live tv. And with all the crazy poo poo like teleprompters disappearing, workers literally walking out during a broadcast, the wrong video loaded up, or loaded up without sound, or loaded up with sound from a different package - I've always wondered if there is more redundancy in place for big time live broadcasts. Like the most impressive thing is how they get a instant replay in slow mo like 10 seconds after it aired. KPLC didn't have any systems in place to make that easy. If I wanted to replay something that went on the air, I'd have to record it with the encoder that was in the newsroom, then export it into the shared drive, then run into the editing room, then go to my computer and place it on the runsheet and export it into the bank so the director could que it up. The fastest I was ever able to do was I had a live interview at the top of the 4th half hour, and then during the breaks I edited it down to sound bites for the 5th half hour. All that to say that everything done during a live broadcast is impressive from a technical standpoint, but how it lands from a creative standpoint has nothing to do with that.

WWE definitely gonna get that Emmy nomination this year, and hell, with amazing cinematic techniques like this on display, they've earned it! Sometimes I have to remind myself I'm watching WWE RAW and not a Jean-Luc Godard film.
