I wonder if this is THE most lopsided jury-selection impartiality landscape ever in judicial history. Like what other trials would it compete with, where 100% of the jury pool is guaranteed to know exactly who the defendant is and have a strong opinion about them?

I feel strongly that everyone should serve a jury if called and is able to, and while I hate Trump, I think I could be fair in a trial of him that only is about specific facts.

That said, the idea of signing up for a possible lifetime of harassment and possible physical threats and death from his nutjob cult would really make me question it.

I can only imagine how much that thought is going through people's heads.

So seeing that the latest from Ohio is that they GOP there has refused to provisionally accept Biden as the nomination with the whole DNC date vs the Ohio due date, is there any insight out there if they are actually going to be able to stonewall him off the ballot there?

Like, would it need to go to the Supreme Court or something to force them to come to an agreement since there is precedence of them making an exception for the same exact issue back in 2020 for both parties at the time.

Did anyone here actually watch "the apprentice"? What was it like? What was Trumps performance like?

I know this was like a million pages ago sorry. Yes, I watched The Apprentice. I loved the Apprentice, I thought it was great. I was a Project Manager in the Air Force at the time and was roped into watching it because all the other PM's I worked with were watching it. In fact for awhile we did a "mock apprentice" deal at work where we watched an episode of the show and would talk about it from a PM perspective. I thought the whole "Yer Fired" bit was great and I generally thought Trump was interesting. I stopped watching it after the 4th season, I wasn't in love with my job anymore and didn't want to think about it anymore than I had to. I would be interested to go back and watch season 1 again just to see with what I know about Trump now how I feel about it.

But the "notion of providing a 'provisional certification' by the statutory deadline simply is not provided for by law," according to the Ohio's attorney general's office, whom LaRose's Chief Legal Counsel Paul Disantis cited in the letter on Monday, which was obtained by ABC News.

Disantis also said he saw some ambiguity in McTigue proposals.

"You use the personal pronoun 'we' throughout the document, but I am unclear on whose behalf you are communicating," Disantis wrote.
