It'll be such an incredibly high bar to clear. Impossible standard really. How is Eggers gunna convince an actor not to blink for every take?! Pretty sure Kinski volunteered for that!

Keep an actor's eyes open? It's a solved problem. Check out Blade: Trinity.

I mean on the one hand it seems like crap, on the other hand it is nothing like the tone of transformers, on the other hand it’s a kids toy advertisement so who cares, but drat really.

It's a really weird tone for a movie that's supposed to be about how Optimus and Megatron became who they are today and the beginning of their brutal war that left their planet in ruins.

Trailer for M Night Shyamalan's new film, Trap, starring Josh Hartnett. The trailer didn't seem that interesting until the big reveal half way through, I wish I'd not watched it as I would have gone and seen it anyway based on the strength of Knock at the Cabin.

Also I bet there's an actual Shyamalan twist and it's the daughter or something lol

There's no way that's the kind of arena show with seating on the floor. They did that 'cause shooting an entire move around an arena of people standing in one place would be torture, but goddamn it, my immersion. :argh:

I was thinking the same thing. Like, he’s still a “good” dad, like he was at the start of the trailer, but by being wildly protective of his daughter, to a fault.

I knew from the start One was going to be an animated film, but I can't say that tone is what I expected. Unless the trailer is drastically misrepresenting the film, that whole vibe just seems off for the subject matter.
