The most embarrassing hit song is The Reason by Hoobastank, because on top of it just being really boring and pointless, every radio DJ into perpetuity must pronounce the word "hoobastank"

it's absolutely blurred lines. it's a dogshit song produced to be as annoying as possible with questionable at best lyrics. i barely notice lyrics, if i comment on them they loving suck. lmaocredburn posted:HOO! it's also just barely off the rhythm in a way that is like nails on chalkboard grating to me personally. i am not clicking the song to refresh this memory, i lived through 2013.

There is a lot of unlistenable garbage in this thread, but that Owl City track still has me depressed Smooth is an annoyingly perfect pop song, no matter how awful it is to hear, and it always gets stuck in your head, to better suit your mood.

How does pop still exist in an era of streaming music? I stopped listening to (most) pop as soon as the radio was no longer my only source for free music. I hear so many people who complain so much about this generation of pop music, but... why are you listening to it? You definitely don't have to unless you work in a department store or something.

The hell pretty fly, Americana and offspring are good and cool. The most embarrassing song is probably one of the rolling stones or Aerosmith song written about an underage girl

To justify/enforce the existence of lovely recording artists that are basically small companies, like Taylor Swift.

For me personally it's anything that's Ska because I was in 7th grade during the 9 months that it was popular and I actually thought it was cool and that I was cool but in retrospect, it was not cool and neither was I.

Jim Jones - Na Na Nana Na Na (Clean Video) ft. Bree-beauty https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0tKCpXDkN4 Go ahead, try to listen to it. the beat - boring rear end drum with wanna be low effort bling leads, and a single piano hit. The rapping is a clunky drunk guy who doesn't even realize there is a beat, while talking about generic 'being rich' poo poo and it takes 1 minute and 5 seconds to get to the annoying brain worm chorus, can you make it tho. Na Na Nana Na Na
