That's why most people think that will happen. He can technically get more right now with an extension of his current deal but he would not be able to add the NTC and potentially miss out on a giant deal down the road.

This is the most logical outcome. Lebron sees that massive TV deal coming up and wants in, and another 1+1 gets him there.
