Started playing 76 again after only playing it for a short time a couple of years ago. Mostly enjoying it except I accidentally shot a drone at whitesprings and now they are being agressive but I'm sure a log off then in will fix that. Also took my first trip into the mire and spawned a sheepsquatch which I very much didn't quite survive.

I'm knee deep in the final quarter of FO4 and my opinion of the game really elevated as I continued to play it. It's a technical mess and I don't think that will ever change, but I've been enjoying it. It's really interesting to see how they weave the factions together into the main story. I'm backing the Railroad this game and it's full of so much double agent nonsense I'm invested.

Besides as long as you're not playing on survival all they'd need to do is rest in a bed for a minimum of 1 hour to fully heal.

i have a 76 question. i know when you look at a workshop on the map it shows the number of extraction nodes but what are the food and water numbers there? theres no extraction point for those. is it just showing how many crops/water pumps are at a workshop? im also wondering if theres any cool raider-esque outfits or armor. i got the raider pathfinder outfit which is ok but im hoping for something more punky/junk/anarchy. the checked a wiki and maybe the blue devil outfit? but it seems thats a rare drop from a rare event. my bethesda id is SaltySteve44 if anyone wants to add me, im level 75 but still new and bumbling my way through.

So I got back into fallout 4 again with this new patch and I'm going through the nuka-world DLC, since I never got around to it back in the day. I'm assuming that most of the content is connected to working with these raider gangs, and doing the whole "open season" quest kind of nixes 90% of the content in the DLC?

Motherfuckers This raider invasion poo poo sucks I get a message that one of the settlements is getting attacked by raiders I arrive, and nothings happening. Is it just some bs that happens off camera? I get a message that Sanctuary was hit by raiders I show up, my generator and turrets are destroyed, and they looted most of my resources! I’m having a dickens of a time trying to find junk that has screws in it

This reddit post is the best thing I've found about food and water at a workshop. TLDR it appears that the number is a 'max capacity able to be generated every 5 minutes'. So if the food value is '5' you can plant 5 plants that will each generate a resource every 5 minutes. I suppose it is to stop somebody from capturing a workshop and planting 100 crops and just AFK farming them all day long... or something. Also there is the 'Sunshine Meadows' workshop on the west side of the map which has a factory that produces processed food. I sometimes capture it and have it make 'Sugar Bombs' while I go Sugar Bomb farming.

After you get done exploring the parks, the raiders will eventually ask you to go assault the Commonwealth. That's when I went Open Season on their asses and didn't regret a thing/didn't miss much plot. You do lose the raider companion though. e: the other thing you want to do before killing them all is doing anything in the arcade games you want to, that's much easier with the raider NPC there I think.

FO76- After scrolling through quests on my pip-boy I realized I never completed the Miner Miracles quest. Did it, so now I can finally build a power armor station in my camp and get to making some Ultracite parts. Well, when I find enough gears again. Used all the ones I had to complete the quest. I know the BoS outpost near Vault 76 has bulk screws. Anything like that for gears? A place I can dip into and just grab like 40 real quick without needing to pick up pieces of loot and scrap them? Just hit 230+ hours played, you'd think I would know some of this stuff by now. Thanks to that electric legendary perk I was able to refill all of my fusion cores so I've been running around in power armor more, switching between Final Word and an okay-ish laser gatling I have with Vampire, Tactical, and Mind's Eye. The Alien Invaders events became much easier, and I don't have to worry about ammo with the gatling. My camp is right by the water filter station, where you turn in the daily soil, etc data tapes, so I can just run down there and let the bots shoot me for a bit to top them all off. I realized I don't have a lot of plans available in the game. I still don't have a better bed, etc. I've completed the BoS quest and am working through the rest. What gives? Where plans? You'll often get them from Main/Side/Daily/Event Quest rewards, completing Daily Ops and Expeditions, capturing and holding Workshops, etc. As you explore the world, check every container, especially during main-quest locations, for randomized plan spawns. There are dozens of NPC vendors in various locations that have many plans for sale, either for caps, or other currencies - check all Train Stations on the map, as well as hubs like Whitesprings, Crater, or Foundation. Lastly player CAMP vendors but good luck finding anything good for cheap.

There's a ton of players that love to put up spare plans, especially the real basic stuff, in their CAMPs for super cheap, like 1 cap. But there's also a bunch of dickheads who run around and snap them all up even though they have them all already so they sell them in their own CAMPs for 100 caps lol. You just gotta check every CAMP, especially the fancy looking ones, and see if you've beaten the second group to it.

is there a "best" way to grind caps? ive mainly just been making sure to clean out the vendor caps every day then picking up whatever from events and the world. i went on a spending spree and im pretty low now though
